Because an automatic transmission requires a stronger engine which does not abide with the 405 as its engine is a 1.6 cc.

We only assemble one type of 406, and since the price difference was very minimal between both transmissions, therefore we decided to go for automatic transmission according to the market demand.

There is a very high demand on Automobiles Peugeot France for producing the 206. France has to supply many countries with their demands. Thus, a quota is decided and delivered to our custom ports.

Airbags will increase its price. However, we do have airbags in the both 206 1.6cc and 206cc.

Our warranty is for one year with unlimited mileage. This is a better deal for our customers. We give them the freedom to try the car with no limited mileage and still hold our guarantee.

We only have black here in Egypt. Other colours have to be imported from abroad to ensure high quality, which is very expensive.

|
|
All tyres are French (imported).

Why does the 405 & 406 have local tyres
|
|
This is because the these cars are local, and 40% of the car has to be of local products where as the remaining 60% has to be foreign (according to Egyptian rules of car assembly). Thus we assemble local tyres which are approved from the international high standard tyres of Dunlop.

Can I change the tyres of the 206 and add broader ones
|
|
This is not advised, because this will affect the car suspension and axes. Plus, the tyres are of very good quality and do not need to be changed.
